So yesterday Jacob's main boss came up from New Mexico to visit and take all his workers and their wives/significant others out to eat at a little Italian restaurant in Richland. I was totally excited about going out to eat and having some "Adult time". I should know better by now that children have a sixth sense about when you are going to go do something exciting and get sick right before. That's exactly what happened.
We were dropping Emma off at her friend's house and she threw up ALL OVER their carpeted floor. (Nice!) So we clean up the floor and head back home. Emma throws up in the car. (Perfect!) We get into the house and Emma throws up on the couch. (Ok, you can stop now!). Jacob leaves to go to the dinner to represent and Emma throws up in a bowl. (I finally got smart). Not wanting to interrupt Jacob's wonderful dinner I call someone to come give Emma a blessing. When they arrive I'm starting to feel woosy so I ask for one as well. Emma throws up again. Jacob comes home from dinner and Emma has thrown up two more times and I have worshiped the porcelin god twice already (I would later go another 2 times). The long hours of the night consisted of me sipping water and chanting in my head "I feel good, I feel good, I feel good". Emma slept pretty well (what a blessing!). She woke up another two times dry heaving and crawled into bed with Jacob (I selpt on the couch).
Today consisted of me laying in bed and on the couch feeling like I wanted to die. Jacob was really sweet and stayed home to take care of his girls. He made me apple cider and chicken noodle soup and changed diapers all day. What a hunk! The moral of the story? I haven't thought of one yet.
Thank goodness not everyday is a sick day!

I hate that! Chris would say that maybe me feling sick was just in my head....HA, so I would tell myself that I felt good, just like you did...it NEVER worked! I'll show him "all in my head"- he would get to clean up my puke! Man I LOVE not being prego anymore! Sorry you are sick :(
Yuck! I'm sorry you're sick!!! Hopefully it passes soon!
I'm feeling better today. Emma is too but now has the runs! I'm glad you are feeling better too Serena. I can't imagine being sick all the time while pregnant. I LOVED being pregnant. The delivery?... yeah not so much!
