"Listen earnestly to anything [your children] want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff." - Catherine M. Wallace

The Olympics/Emma pictures
I just have to say how much I love the Olympics! Jacob and I watched Misty May and Kerri Walsh beat China for the Gold in Volleyball last night and MAN... what a fun game. I wish we had the Olympics all the time! Watching May and Walsh play made me really miss playing volleyball. Now granted I was NEVER anywhere close to being that good, but I still really enjoy the sport. Anyone want to play?
And another thing... track runners are pretty much the craziest people I've ever seen. I mean how can you move your legs so fast!? Going over hurdles!? I have been informed by a couple people that I run like a duck so I'm thinking hurdles are pretty much out of the question... actually running may be out of the question too to avoid any public humiliation. Who wants to join my "I run like and duck and I don't care" club!?
The Olympics are always entertaining to watch though. Last night when the Silver and Bronze Medalists for the Men's 200 DQ'd for touching the inside lane that was really a crappy deal for them but did you see them when they told the new Bronze medalist that he had won? He was all "oh..." totally not excited. He won on a fluke so yeah nothing much to be excited about but it was still funny to see his reaction.
Well, I believe that's all I have to say about that. Thank you for putting up with my random and sometimes jumbled thoughts. You can't tell me that your brain doesn't think that way too at least some of the time!
