"Listen earnestly to anything [your children] want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff." - Catherine M. Wallace

The comings and goings of the Throolins
Today we went swimming on the Snake River at Hood Park just outside of Pasco. It was really hot here today. The high was 105!! Tomorrow will be the same. Emma had a lot of fun playing in the water. We brought Annie (our dog) too and she went crazy in the water swimming and jumping around. I will post pictures as soon as I find the dang camera cord!
Emma also got her first hair cut. She had a pretty bad mullet so Jacob held her while I cut her pretty locks. I think it turned out ok... I'm not a professional. Emma's vocabulary continues to grow by leaps and bounds. She speaks in sentences 90% of the time. It's so fun to watch her grow and develop.
My sister-in-law and niece came up last week from San Antonio and we went to Seattle to see them. It was really nice to be with them. Genevieve (our niece) is seven months older than Emma. My in-laws have a cat that Genevieve and Emma enjoyed playing with/torturing!
I think that's all that's new with us. We are enjoying the summer weather and having Jacob home more often. I can't say enough how thankful I am to Heavenly Father for blessing us with a new job and a wonderful place to live.
