Well, Emma and I made our way back over the mountains today. Last night after Emma went to sleep I went over to Ashley's and we watched August Rush which I had never seen before. SO GOOD! The ending was disappointing though. For those of you who haven't seen it yet I won't say anything. It was nice to go over and watch a movie without Emma though.
The weather over the pass was kinda crappy. It was raining pretty good and there were some people being stupid going over the summit. It's like they had never seen in rain before. I stepped out of the car when I got home and had my sweatshirt on and just about died from the heat! Ok so it wasn't that hot about 90 but way too hot to be wearing a sweatshirt. I just think it's funny how different the climates are between the two halves of the state.
Going back to Port Orchard was so weird. I lived my whole pre single adult life there and going back is such a funny feeling. I took my little brother over to Sedgwick Junior High to get his schedule and locker number and to show him around and had a little flashback. I totally remembered how scared I was going into Junior High and walking up the steps to the attendance office. Kaleb has home room in my old Earth Science classroom and a guy I graduated high school with and had classes with at Central is now teaching there. It's really weird to think that I can have friends that are professional teachers who graduated high school with me! And then you go to the store and see people you graduated high school with... some are doing something with their lives and others are still working the same job they did sophomore year. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about when I talk about the weirdness.
We also went to our friends wedding reception tonight in Kennewick. Jacob found out he knew the bride's family better than the groom's family which was who we came to see. The bride's family was in his family ward growing up. It really is a small world! It was also really nice to reconnect with some friends we had in the Single's Ward. There were only a handful of them there...most of themhave moved back to the west side.

So I hate to be so gossipy on your blog but I don't have your e-mail address... So Vance got married? How exciting! Do we know the bride? Probably not, it didn't sound like she was snyone at the branch or anything. Also, thanks for making that comment about seeing people from the branch because I hadn't looked that closely at the pics until I read that. Then I had to go back and check it out. By the way, what is your e-mail? Mine is roxannecarlile@yahoo.com. Thanks for finding us! It was great to hear from you!
Our email address is thethroolins@gmail.com
Yeah Vance's wife's name is Emilee Reed. I think she is either my age or a year younger so 23 or 22. Jeremiah Vaught and Amber Smith got married too this summer. Cara Perkins is engaged to a Compton which is Jeremiah Barney's cousin. They are getting married in November.
I'm glad you came over! It was fun!!!
I miss you Ashley! I need to come over again... like right now! I'm on my way...
