I forgot to blog about a funny Emma story earlier this year and I need to put it somewhere before I forget it. Emma fell down in the backyard and started crying. I was busy and couldn't come to her aid right then so I told her to rub some dirt on it and move on (she was fine). She went to play at her friend's house the next day and when I cam to pick her up she was dirty. I asked my friend what happened and she told me that Emma had fallen down and then gone over and grabbed some dirt and proceeded to rub it all over her. I laughed so hard! I love how literal kids are. Emma brings a lot of comic relief to the house. I love my little Emma!
"Listen earnestly to anything [your children] want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff." - Catherine M. Wallace

Jared has started with the fibs too. It is very frustrating. I know it is a phase, but man!
hahaha...that's funny, I always tell Linc he's ok and to rub some dirt in it!
We love Emma too! She's so cute! How funny she rubbed dirt on herself, that's hilarious!
