Our Trip to Utah

Holy cow! There have been so many things going on this last month! We went down to Utah for Jacob's grandma's (his dad's mom) funeral in American Fork. It was really nice to see his family and mine but sad that a funeral was the reason for the visit. We stayed in a hotel in Boise Thursday night and went swimming as a family. I forgot how much I miss swimming! I hit the pool with the crawl stroke and it has never felt so good! Emma splashed Jacob and I and also practiced her kicks.Then we continued onto Utah and visited Jacobs grandpa (his mom's dad). Emma was able to play with her second cousins and they all had a blast! Then we went out to eat with Serena, Chris, Chris, Lincoln and Jacob's sister Kathryn up in Sandy at Texas Roadhouse. Super good food! We had one in Grand Junction when we lived there and loved it! On Saturday we had Jacob's grandma's funeral and Jacob, myself, his sister Rachel and his other sister Jessica and brother Michael sang Nearer My God To Thee. Then we went up to Draper to eat at Chuck A Rama with the extended family. We stayed at my Uncle's house in Highland and enjoyed visiting with them. My Aunt Deb made us yummy breakfasts both mornings we were there.

On Tuesday this week Emma and I went with her best friend Niev and her super cool mom Lora to the wading pool over here. Niev and Emma had a blast playing in the pool. They are such cute girls!
