Presidential Candidates

I was reading my friend, Terri's blog and she made an awesome point that I feel is worth repeating. This year we have the responsibility and right of electing the next president of the United States. This is a very serious matter and decision that shouldn't be taken lightly. We all need to educate ourselves on both candidates whether we are for or against them. I think it is ignorant to vote for someone just because they are a democrat or republican. (Usually your party preference will share the same values as you but it's always a good idea to make sure). There are a ton of people who don't do their research. I would encourage all of you to make sure you are taking a close look at BOTH of the candidates. I had been worried about both and after doing my research I know that the person who I am going to vote for will be the best decision for me. Here are the addresses for both candidates:

www.johnmccain.com

www.barackobama.com

I have a smart group of friends so I'm sure you've done your research but if you haven't... get on the stick!! And encourage others to do the same. This is a very important issue that calls for some education.

Thank you so much for supporting me, and also for telling other. I can't tell you how many times I have been part of a conversation where the person is giving out false information, And what's worse don't even want to look at the other side and see that the information that they have couldn't be further from the truth. This election is SO important, and we ALL need to know what we are voting for and agents. And your right about another thing, Partys don't mean anything anymore, vote for the "person" that you think will do the best job for this country, and may the best man win.
So thanks, I hope people will look at both of those web addresses.

Sorry I posted as Preston, but It really was me righting everything.

Yeah... I was thinking more McCain, but everyone is different. I think it's awesome that you are so passionate about Obama and educated about him (even if I don't agree). I hope you are having a great time back east. I'm going to have to come visit you sometime!!

I'm sorry... what is there to be educated on Obama about? He hasn't done anything. Ever. Oh. Did I just say that out loud? Oops.

p.s. Also ignorant... voting for someone because of their race. Crap. I did it again. I obviously have issues.

You're bad Ashley! That's why I love you.

There is a lot to be educated about Obama actually. He has great Education Policies, Climate change Policies, and a much better Tax police. MaCain in for Keeping "no child left behind", and his idea for a "climate Change" is to start a "GIFT" program, and if anyone really new what that was we would veto it. And if we all look a little closer at MaCains tax police we would see that 101 million Americas are left out of the equations. But I am not saying that Obams is all good, I am just saying that he does have somethings that are better then Macain. But I am sure there will be some people that will vote baste on race, or party.
